Sunday 12th February - Thanksgiving for Marriage A special service of Thanksgiving for Marriage will be held on Sunday 12th February at 4.00pm at St Margaret's Church, South Wonston, in the company of the Mayor and Mayoress of Winchester and followed by a 'mini' reception. Thursday 1st March - Lent Course Every Thursday between 7.30pm - 9.pm starting on the 1st March until the 29th March a Lent course based on the book "A Way Through the Wilderness - experiencing God's help in times of crisis" by Paula Gooder will be held. Saturday 10th March - Poems & Puddings Evening Friends of St Margaret's Church invite you to share your favourite verse, limerick or rhyme with us at a "Poems & Pudding" evening with an Irish theme. Saturday 21st April - Inauguration and Enthronement as Bishop of Winchester The Revd Canon Timothy Dakin's Inauguration and Enthronement as Bishop of Winchester will be on Saturday 21st April. at Winchester Cathedral at 2.30pm. Admittance will be by ticket only with the exception of a small area of unreserved seating.
